Plagiarism Screening Policy
Jurnal Al-Fawa’id : Jurnal Agama dan Bahasa is committed to ensuring the originality of all submitted manuscripts.
All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection tools (e.g., Turnitin or equivalent) after the peer review process and before publication.
Similarity Threshold
The journal applies a similarity threshold of maximum 30%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used phrases.
Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be:
- returned to the author for revision, or
- rejected if significant overlap or potential plagiarism is identified
Types of Plagiarism
The journal does not tolerate any form of plagiarism, including:
- direct copying without proper citation
- paraphrasing without proper acknowledgment
- self-plagiarism (duplicate or redundant publication)
Editorial Action
If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process, the editorial team will take appropriate action, including:
- revision request
- rejection of the manuscript
- retraction of published articles (in severe cases)
Author Responsibility
Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for properly citing all sources.
