Establishment and Publication Development

Al Fawa’id: Jurnal Agama dan Bahasa (P-ISSN: 2088-9593 and E-ISSN: 2774-3748) is a scholarly journal published by STAI Ali bin Abi Thalib Surabaya, Indonesia. The journal publishes research articles in the fields of Islamic studies and language studies twice a year, in March and September.

Al Fawa’id was first published in print in March 2011 and continued in printed form from Volume 1 Number 1 until Volume 7 Number 2 in September 2017. Since March 2018 (Volume 8 Number 1), the journal has also been published online through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, and online publication continues to the present.

Journal Design and Template Development

In 2020, beginning with Volume 10 Number 1, Al Fawa’id: Jurnal Agama dan Bahasa updated its journal cover design and article template as part of its efforts to improve publication quality and journal appearance.

Licensing History

Before 2022, articles published in Al Fawa’id: Jurnal Agama dan Bahasa were licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Since 2022, the journal has adopted the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) for all newly published articles.

Copyright History

Before 2022, the copyright of published articles was held by the journal/publisher.

Since 2022, authors publishing in Al Fawa’id: Jurnal Agama dan Bahasa retain the copyright of their work, while granting the journal the right of first publication.
