This study aims to analyze the Islamic legal perspective on the interaction between male teachers and female students, particularly when the teacher listens to the voice of female students, in the context of Islamic education. The main focus of the research is to examine whether a woman's voice is considered part of her awrah in Islamic law and how shariah rules govern this interaction. This study employs a qualitative method with an analytical approach to classical and contemporary fiqh texts. Various views from scholars of different madhhabs are considered to provide a comprehensive interpretation of the relevant legal issues. The findings indicate that, although a woman's voice is generally not regarded as part of her awrah, certain conditions and circumstances must be observed to avoid fitnah or moral disturbance. These conclusions reflect the diversity of views within the Islamic legal tradition, where some scholars impose stricter limitations, while others offer more flexibility, provided that proper manners and interaction protocols are maintained. This research makes a significant contribution to discussions on gender interaction in Islamic educational settings, particularly in determining the boundaries that align with shariah principles. The findings may also serve as a guideline for Islamic educational institutions in formulating policies that are consistent with religious values, while simultaneously creating a conducive learning environment. Thus, this study enriches the discourse on the ethics and legal frameworks of gender interaction in Islamic education and provides insights into how shariah principles can be contextually applied in modern educational settings.
